Ce charmant appartement au premier étage se situe au cœur du pittoresque village de San Sano, avec une très belle vue sur les coteaux au loin, tapissés de vignes. L'appartement possède trois chambres et deux salles de bains, ce qui en fait l'endroit idéal pour les familles souhaitant passer leurs vacances ensemble.
A stone staircase leads up to a small entrance lobby which opens directly into the open plan lounge/kitchen/diner. Il s'agit d'une pièce très claire avec un coin salon équipé d'un canapé, d'un fauteuil, d'une TV satellite écran plat, et d'un lecteur de DVD.
La cuisine est bien équipée (lave-vaisselle, four, plaque de cuisson au gaz et réfrigérateur/freezer). Il y a également une table en bois et six chaises.
Depuis le séjour, une porte mène aux chambres. Remarque : il y a deux ou trois marches à monter ou descendre à l'entrée de chaque chambre. À côté du salon, on retrouve la chambre principale équipée d'un lit double et d'une salle de bain privée avec douche, lavabo et WC.
Le sol de cet appartement est en carreaux de terre cuite et le plafond laisse apparaître de belles poutres. La plupart des chambres ont des baies vitrées et un balcon « Juliette ».
Les deux autres chambres et salles de bain sont situées de part et d'autre d'un petit hall, au fond du séjour. L'une est une chambre double, l'autre dispose d'un canapé convertible deux places.
La salle de bain avec douche se situe entre les deux chambres. En plus, il y a une petite buanderie avec machine à laver, fer et planche à repasser.
Ce charmant appartement avec ses trois chambres est idéal pour des familles voyageant ensemble.
Casa Stella possède un petit espace privatif de verdure et pelouse à la disposition des locataires. Equipé de table d'une table et de chaises, il se trouve entre la maison et la piscine.

Savourez la richesse historique de San Sano tout en appréciant un jour de repos près de la piscine située au sein des vignobles privés de la propriété. Rester dans ce village en parfait état est un voyage unique dans le temps, lorsque la vie passait lentement et était passionnée, et que les voisins s'asseyaient dans leur cour et buvaient du vin à petite gorgée tout en regardant le coucher de soleil.
San Sano est en lui seul un véritable voyage dans le temps, puisque le village a plusieurs milliers d'années d'histoire. Avec moins de 100 résidents, San Sano est niché au cœur des collines onduleuses des vignobles de Toscane. Dans ce petit havre de paix se trouve la propriété qui appartenait autrefois à un viticulteur. Elle a été rénovée en plusieurs villas particulières, avec une très grande attention au détail garantissant l'authenticité et l'intégrité des structures d'origine.
San Sano possède un restaurant, une petite épicerie et une église intime où l'on célèbre la messe le dimanche matin à 10 heures. Le village médiéval est entouré de chemins de randonnée, idéaux pour les promenades matinales et les excursions en vélo. La grande piscine se trouve tout près des villas, le long des vignobles. Elle fait 14 mètres sur 7, on y accède par des échelles et on s'y repose sur de confortables lits de bain tout en se faisant bronzer ou en lisant. La piscine est ouverte de Pâques à novembre.
San Sano a une histoire très riche, demandez aux habitants, ils ne tarissent pas sur ce sujet ! Ils vous diront tout sur la fontaine de la « grenouille pocharde », dans le petit parc où voisins et voisines aiment se retrouver pendant la journée. Il y a de nombreuses années, un résident de San Sano qui participait à un jeu télévisé raconta une histoire extravagante, selon laquelle les grenouilles de son village s'enivraient en buvant du Chianti à la bouteille. L'histoire était tellement bizarre qu'il remporta le jeu, et avec l'argent, il acheta la fontaine pour que tous les habitants puissent en profiter.
Les villas de San Sano sont idéales pour les couples de voyageurs qui aiment partager leurs vacances entre dégustations de vins fins, détente au bord de la piscine, marche à pied et randonnée, découverte des villages avoisinants et dîner dans les merveilleux restaurants toscans environnants. Un couple peut choisir d'explorer, tandis que l'autre reste à la villa.
San Sano est situé à proximité de dizaines de villages charmants, et de villes plus importantes telles que Gaiole in Chianti, Radda et Sienne. Il possède toutes les qualités que l'on attend d'une découverte de la Toscane authentique.

La grande piscine est située à un bout du hameau, à côté des vignobles. Une échelle descend dans le petit bain. On trouve des bains de soleil et des tables sur la terrasse pavée.
Entourée d'arbres et arbustes méditerranéens, la piscine mesure 14 x 7 mètres, et donne sur les vignobles voisins. La piscine est ouverte de Pâques à novembre.
Ville la plus proche
Le petit village serein de San Sano a un restaurant qui s'appelle La Grotta della Rana, une petite épicerie et une petite église avec une messe le dimanche à 10 h. Ce village médiéval est très populaire auprès des marcheurs et des cyclistes. Il est entouré de chemins qui sont idéaux pour des marches à pied tôt le matin et pour des promenades à bicyclette.

What were the highlights of your holiday? ALL of the stuff we did and saw while trundling around Tuscany from our base in San Sano.
What was your overall impression of the accommodation? Accomodation was really good and would have been excellent if the problems with the Electricity supply could be sorted out - Kettle and toaster, when used together blew the power a couple of times and we couldn't have the washing machine running if we wanted to use either Kettle OR toaster OR oven. Also shower in one room was like bathing in a coffin (very small and no room to move so don't drop the soap or you have to get out of the shower to pick it up (and I'm not what you would call fat!) Having said that, the location (San Sano) was brilliant, the staff we dealt with were helpful and freindly and the locaton was absolutely perfect for day trips to all the lovely villages surrounding San Sano as well as visits to Siena and Florence. Thank you.

They had a set menu, We liked Radda and often stopped at Lecchi as we were passing through to buy some cheeses, bread etc in the little shop and maybe have a glass of wine or two next door! We ate in the Marborghetto Restaurant in Lecchi and that was lovely. Would recommend both of those places as we couldn't fault the food! Our visits to San Gimignano and Siena. As you can gather we had such a lovely time.
What was your overall impression of the accommodation? We stayed in La Scuderia and it was excellent - just as it looked on the website. We loved the garden and the stunning views (which actually were even better than we had imagined), in fact we all loved it. It definitely has the best garden out of all the places there (Festin looks after it so well).

Festin was so nice, smiley and friendly but it would have been nice if he could have spoken some English as it was a bit hard to communicate! When we called to say we were on our way it was really hard to make him understand - luckily there was an English man there who spoke and translated to him......The ceiling upstairs in the Mezzanine is low and our friends hit their heads several times!!

Do you have any other comments regarding the accommodation or service? The dishwasher is not fitted properly in the housing so that it falls forward when we opened it so we smashed some glasses. The light over the hob does not work. It would have been nice to have the option of air conditioning. There was no information in our villa about the surrounding area or things to do we only found out by chance from some other guests what we could do.

What were the highlights of your holiday? Experiencing Florence even though it was thundering and lightening. Relaxing by the poolside. The landscape is like nothing I have experienced before. The local restaurant, Grotta de la Rana.
What was your overall impression of the accommodation? The accommodation was perfect for our family of four, spacious and lovely fixtures and fittings while feeling comfortable and relaxing.
Did you have any unpleasant surprises during your stay with us? The euro rate was not very favourable making everything much more expensive than we had anticipated.

Did you have any unpleasant surprises during your stay with us? Yes. The condo has no terrace and was actually on the second floor, there is a flight of stairs outside and another one inside. Making it on the second floor, not the first floor.
Do you have any other comments regarding the accommodation or service? There sould be more "adaptors" in the unit. All the electrical equipment in the unit would not fit in the wall unit. The situation was corrected by your representative at destination.

What were the highlights of your holiday? There were no highlights or our two whole weeks were a highlight. Tuscany (Chianti) both countryside and towns is just fabulous.
what was your overall impression of the accommodation? The accommodation was excellent. It could be improved with the addition of a microwave oven. Also, it should be explained that all programming on the TV is in Italian and that non-Italian clients wanting to use the TV should bring DVDs.
Did you have any unpleasant surprises? On two occasions we got lost in Siena because we erroneously believed that the way out was to leave Siena. But all roads leaving Siena go in different directions meaning that if you aren't on the right one you get more and more lost. Our problems were compounded by not having a map. In two weeks we were not able to find one - we found maps for central Siena and maps showing the roads around Siena but no maps that showed how the outlying roads connected to those in central Siena. If such a map does exist see comment below.
Do you have any other comments? The information package for the condo should include a map of Siena that shows how the central Siena streets are linked to the roads that lead into and out of Siena - if such a map exists!

Do you have any other comments? Would definitely recommend San Sano and To Tuscany as a company. When we return to Tuscany I would not hesitate to look at the To Tuscany website first. Thank you for a lovely time!

Sehr liebevoll, sauber und freundlichen. Das Restaurant ist sehr emjpfehlenswert, wenn man richtig toskanisch essen will. Ebenso super das Hotel in San Sano.

Le site est très beau. Superbe piscine avec vue sur les collines toscanes. Bon emplacement pour rayonner dans la région .De plus, le propriétaire était très agréable et discret, juste ce qu'il faut!nous avons apprécie son attention pour notre arrivée : une bonne bouteille de Chianti! Au niveau du logement : très bon équipement , tout était fourni.
