Superbe: Calme, tranquillité et villa très agréable.

Quels ont été les point forts de vos vacances?
Le site est très beau. Superbe piscine avec vue sur les collines toscanes. Bon emplacement pour rayonner dans la région .De plus, le propriétaire était très agréable et discret, juste ce qu'il faut!nous avons apprécie son attention pour notre arrivée : une bonne bouteille de Chianti! Au niveau du logement : très bon équipement , tout était fourni.

Quels ont été les point forts de vos vacances? Bonne localisation, très bien situé pour visiter Florence,Sienne, Pise et la région du Chianti en une semaine.
Quelle est votre impression générale concernant l'hébergement? Très bien en général, la vue de la chambre principale à l'étage est vraiment magnifique. Le rez de chaussée est un peu sombre mais certainement agréable l'été par grosse chaleur, le canapé (recouvert) et les fauteuils verts sont de moins bon goût que les chambres à l'étage. Le tout est très propre, les salles de bains sont très bien également. La vue de la piscine est également formidable.
Avez vous eu de mauvaises surprises? Non, dommage qu'il n'y ait pas de micro-ondes.

 Was waren die Highlights Ihres Urlaubs? Natürlich: San Gimignano, Volterra, Siena, aber auch Colle Val D'Elsa. Tolle Landschaft. Schöner Abend im Restaurant in Sant' Appiano. Nettes Lokal in Barberino.
 Wie war Ihr Gesamteindruck der Unterbrungung? Sehr schöne Wohnung.Tolle Lage.

 Was waren die Highlights Ihres Urlaubs? Die herrliche toskanische Landschaft; die Ausflüge, die wir nach San Gimignano, Firence, Sienna und in mehrere Bergdörfer unternommen haben. Den Blick von unserem Domizil auf die Umgebung haben wir sehr genossen.
 Wie war Ihr Gesamteindruck der Unterbrungung? Die Unterbringung war gut. Allerdings hätten wir uns ein paar mehr deutsche Fernsehprgramme gewünscht, denn es war zur Zeit unseres Urlaubs abends ein bißchen zu kalt um auf der Terasse zu sitzen. Eine enorme Verbesserung wäre es, wenn der Wasserdruck in der Küche und im Bad am Waschbecken Normalstärke hätten. In der Dusche war er o.k.

Was waren die Highlights Ihres Urlaubs? Ganz klar: Unsere zwei Besuche in Volterra. Aber auch die sehr netten und ruhigen Abende auf der Terrasse mit italienischem Abendessen, Brunello und Sonnenuntergang.
Wie war Ihr Gesamteindruck von der Unterbringung? Sehr gut, gute Ausstattung, exzellente Lage, sehr gepflegt (Vermieter war täglich vor Ort und hat sich zurückhaltend um alles gekümmert), maximaler Erholungseffekt.

Was waren die Highlights Ihres Urlaubs? Schönes Wetter, gute Unterkunft, sehr gute Restaurants in der Nähe und wunderschöne kleine Städte.
Wie war Ihr Gesamteindruck von der Unterbringung? Sehr gute, ruhige, wunderschöne und zentrle Lage. Grundsütck ist sehr großzüg mit wenig Wohneinheiten. Alle sehenswerte Orte in der Toskana können in kurzer Zeit erreicht werden.

Haben Sie andere Anmerkungen? Silikon an der Duschwanne war angeschimmelt. Hier wäre vielleicht an eine Renovierung zu denken.

Avez vous d'autres commentaires? je suis propriétaire d'un salon de coiffure à saint-mandé, je vous recommande à tous mes clients, ma femme et moi sommes enchantés par nos vacances en toscane, certe la région est magnifique mais l'un ne va pas sans l'autre pour apprécier pleinement les vacances et ce fut un bonheur d'etre à la Balla à Sant'appiano.

Quels ont été les point forts de vos vacances? La situation géoraphique de cette location, très accessible et proche des grands axes pour visiter Sienne et Florence mais aussi le Chianti et San Gimignanno. Au village de San Appiano, une petite auberge propose des plats avec un excellent rapport qualité prix, à mettre en avant. La piscine est magnifique au calme.
Quelle est votre impression générale concernant l'hébergement? L'hébergement est très bien situé, l'accueil trés sympatique, tout est agréable et bien entretenu, la superficie et l'agencement de la location sont trés correctes meme avec cette chambre aveugle qui me faisait un peu peur.
Avez vous eu de mauvaises surprises? Pas de mauvaises surprises mais on pourrait améliorer la séparation terrasse entre les locataires (nous étions un peu géné par la cigarette de nos voisins!), la vaisselle est un peu légére pour 4 (surtout verres et couverts) ce qui oblige à faire tourner le lave vaisselle non plein, c'est dommage.
Avez vous d'autres commentaires? Nous sommes tres content et allons recommader To Toscane et cette location.

What were the highlights of your holiday? The beauty of the Tuscan countryside, walking round tiny hamlets such as Linari & Sant Appiano and visits to San Gimignano, Siena & Florence, amongst other places. Having the large pool at Vecchio Fienile all to ourselves quite often!
What was your overall impression of the accommodation?    Very good,spacious and well equipped. Fabulous position and views. Large pool, with towels provided by Maurizio. Plenty of towels provided indoors also and good quality bedlinen. Comfortable beds. The English dads all liked the big barbecue!
Did you have any unpleasant surprises during your stay with us? Difficulty in finding train station in Poggibonsi (sat nav couldn't cope - had to resort to old-fashioned following the road signs! - you have to spot the blue train logo ). When the train station was finally located, the ticket office was shut and the automatic ticket machines weren't working and a sign directed us to tourist office but we didn't know where that was. Easily located - it'sjust a stone's throw up the road but a nasty moment. Only other bad thing was the 2 hour wait to pick up hire car - massive queue at Europcar desk. Oh and the mosquitoes! But we were warned about them!
Do you have any other comments regarding the accommodation or service? No, we had a great time.

Was waren die Highlights Ihres Urlaubs? Die Umgebung und die vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten waren sehr beeindruckend. Besonders gut hat uns Lucca gefallen. Alle Leute waren sehr nett und zuvorkommend.
Wie war Ihr Gesamteindruck von der Unterbringung? Alles sauber und gepflegt. Nur das Bett für die zwei Kinder war etwas zu hart und unbequem.
Gab es unangenehme Überraschungen? Nein
Haben Sie andere Anmerkungen? Fanden alles sehr gut und auch unser Hund hat sich sehr wohl gefühlt.

Was waren die Highlights Ihres Urlaubs? Das tolle Wetter, die überraschend tolle Lage der FeWo, und der Ort Colle val d'Elsa!!!!!
Wie war Ihr Gesamteindruck von der Unterbringung? Der war in Ordnung. Für diese preisgünstige Unterbringung, war alles vorhanden, was wir benötigten... vielleicht hätte es etwas mehr Besteck sein dürfen... ;-)
Gab es unangenehme Überraschungen? Heizung fiel aus, bzw. lief durchgehend, machte nachts Lärm, nervig! Hatten dadurch hohen Verbrauch und folglich eine hohe Rechnung!! (70 Euro für 10 Tage!!!!) Der nette Vermieter hat sich zwar bemüht, das Problem zu beheben, dennoch ärgerten wir uns darüber...
Haben Sie andere Anmerkungen? Nö, wenn wir wieder nach Italien fahren würden, würden wir es bestimmt wieder über to toscana laufen lassen. Vielen Dank

What were the highlights of your holiday? Just being able to relax and enjoy the breathtaking views.
what was your overall impression of the accommodation?    Lovely - more than we had expected. Paglia's upstairs was very roomy however the downstairs TV area was a little small for the 4 of us when it wasn't hot enough to sit outside. Pietra was gorgeous for the two of us.
Did you have any unpleasant surprises? Only that on the 2nd week, we were woken by the noisy gardners mowing and strimming at 7.45 am to midday for our last 4 mornings. They seemed to take an awful long time to do the mowing!!!
Do you have any other comments? We had very nice 'neighbours' throughout the holiday and we would definately consider using To Tuscany when we next book a holiday in Italy. Mauritzio was very helpful and it made me feel safe knowing that we could call him at anytime if we had an emergency.

What were the highlights of your holiday? We enjoyed all of it from the walks evry morning to st appiano, to the lovely drives in the country side and all the different local places we ate at, particularly in st barberino, vico, both recomended by Maurizzio the owner of the property. His personal interest and helpfulness was most appreciated.
what was your overall impression of the accommodation?    very good. lovely views from main bedroom particularly and also nice to sit out for meals overlooking the garden. comfortable bed/s. Lighting in the lounge could do with improvement so as to brighten up the place when needed. At times found it dull and made one feel like not staying indoors in the evenings. So we ended up being out for dinner evry night!
Did you have any unpleasant surprises? Not really.
Do you have any other comments? Most definitely recomend it, especially Paglia the accomodation we stayed in facing front garden and great views to wake up to every morning. Pity we could'nt make use of the pool in 2nd week due to the weather, which kinda dampned the spirits and we made up by travelling all over by the rental car which is a must really. Kkep up the good service but bear in mind the pricing in this economic climate!

What were the highlights of your holiday? Siena market is great, as is that lovely city. The sunsets from our cottage were wonderful, hearing chickens and roosters and sheep in the distance. The tranquility of the location and the views. Proximity to some fabulous attractions.
what was your overall impression of the accommodation?    Very neat and clean. Had everything we needed. Very welll kept grounds, especially liked being able to pick some sage and rosemary for cooking!
Did you have any unpleasant surprises? Whilst we had a map of the area, had some trouble getting out of Poggibonsi to return home (twice), so a map of the town would be helpful. The washing machine stopped working, but it was fixedd in a day, some filter problem
Do you have any other comments? Mauritzio and Beatrice were great. We were late in, dark and raining and he was there to help in every way. Both very personable and welcoming. This is the second time I have used To-Tuscany and would do so again and recommend to all friends and family. Excellent!

Overall impression: Wow better than the pictures
Highlights: Having meals with my family (all 20) in the main communal area and the kids loved having night swims before bedtime and the location was perfect near Sienna and Florence.
Unpleasant surprises: the mossies I got bitten every night but it doesn't effect all persons some didn't get bitten at all take mossie spray.

Overall impression: Fantastic! it was important for us that in the house there were two different bedrooms with their own enters. Also two bathrooms was really good.
Highlights: Lying by the pool, barbequeing, having dinner outside....all the things!

Thank you. We are very pleased with the service in To-Tuscany. The websites is very honest to the places and give you a Good indication about the locations. This time it was a very elegant place, just enough for the two of us. The owner spoke exellent english and was very helpfull. The pool and surroundings was perfect and the huge garden in exellent shape. All in all it was more than you can expect and for a fair price.
We feel now that we know our way around and we dont use so much time not finding our way. We managed to visit two wine festivals (Greve and Panzano) We went to Montalcino and bought a couple of Brunellos and one day we visited Isole e Olena for tasting. Perfect.
We are now looking into another place to hire for next year (If the websites is as correct as before we think about Fieline de Villole)But mind you, we could easily og back to Pietra or Molino the Rogante

overall impression: Very good. It exceeded what i’d seen online. It was spacious, clean, comfortable, quiet, everything we wanted. However, i wouldn’t have wanted to have slept in the windowless small second bedroom if there had been three of us. It was a perfect size for the two of us, and we could use the second bedroom as a store room.
highlights: Whilst we were staying at the Villa: we enjoyed our proximity to Siena and San G, as well as Florence. We found you could access the cities/towns so easily, but also the beautiful chianti countryside, either towards radda, or more locally. We loved the pool and its quiet location, and sitting watching the sunset outside the villa - wonderfully relaxing. Having had a week touring round in hotels, we found the villa the perfect antidote, it exceeded my (high) expectations, and we had a wonderful week. Thanks again.
unpleasant surprises: None... we just struggle with Italian opening times, no matter what we do, we always seemed to arrive at places when they were shut! Part of the charm of the holiday/italy though!

Fabulous location, beautiful villa, wonderful escape from it all. Exactly what we had hoped for but didn't believe we would get due to lateness of booking.
Peace and quiet. It was truly away from it all - if we had stayed in the villa and its surrounding area we would barely have seen another English person, which was perfect. At the same time the villa was excellently located for exploring some of the must-see parts of the region - Florence, Siena and San Giminagno all within 15 minutes drive.
The local village, Sant Appiano, was beautiful, producing a delicious Chianti and serving wonderful local cuisine at Il Pipolino.
