Castagnoli, au sud de Giaole dans le Chianti, est un petit village en pierre surmonté d’une forteresse médiévale. Connue sous le nom de Rocca di Castagnoli, cette solide forteresse fut assiégée par les Siennois en 1478. C’est le pays des châteaux du Chianti, où Castagnoli surplombe le Château de Meleto, un avant-poste médiéval qui est maintenant au cœur d’un domaine viticole, même si le château est aussi ouvert aux visiteurs. Depuis la Rocca et le village, vous pourrez admirer de larges panoramas faits de minces cyprès, d’oliveraies, d’oliviers et de vignes. Les vins de Rocca di Castagnoli valent la peine d'être dégustés avant de partir à la découverte des plus grands domaines du Chianti Classico. La campagne de Castagnoli, au sud de Sienne et à l’est d’Arezzo, est plus en altitude, plus sauvage et plus humide. Les pics rocheux boisés sont verts et frais, avec des senteurs de thym, de romarin et de pin. Les profondes forêts de châtaigniers constituent un abri idéal pour le sanglier, qui finira souvent dans votre assiette, accompagné des vins locaux.

Fresh Pasta, Gnocchi & Italian Sauces!

We will start with a welcome coffee and cookies to create the right atmosphere Then we will get right to the action by starting to prepare the vegetables for the Bolognese sauce which will be cooking for two hours! Meanwhile we will prepare the filling for the Ravioli:i'll show you how to do a really taste filling with ricotta and spinaches, salt pepper and nug mag.Then we will start with flour and eggs and hands in dough! From the base of the dough you will do in first person,three different shapes of pasta.After making the dough rest for about twenty minutes,we will roll it out by hand and start making shapes for Ravioli & Tagliatelle. Get a small aperitif with prosecco and"bruschetta"!It is already time to prepare another dough, the one for the Gnocchi with flour and potatoes.Our menu is ready: gnocchi with pesto, tagliatelle with ragù and ravioli stuffed with ricotta and spinaches.Together we will cook the pasta and prepare and eat together all the your fresh pasta!
